The Brief

RANAO Chalet was conceived as a modern accommodation facility that prioritizes efficiency, comfort, and timeless design. The objective was to deliver a building that serves its operational requirements while presenting a confident architectural presence through simplicity, proportion, and material restraint.

The Concept

The architecture is expressed as a composition of intersecting rectilinear volumes articulated through a monochromatic palette. Deep charcoal feature walls frame the primary masses, contrasting against crisp white surfaces to emphasize depth and scale. Large, glazed openings maximize natural light while maintaining a clean, contemporary façade language that remains elegant without unnecessary ornamentation.

The Outcome

The completed development provides a refined hospitality environment characterized by generous daylight, efficient circulation, and a strong visual identity. Its restrained material palette, durable detailing, and balanced proportions create a building that feels modern, professional, and built to endure.
